Dr. Jill

Dr. Jill Bergkamp-Engle

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Jill was raised on a dairy farm between Sedgwick and Valley Center. She attended school K-12 in Sedgwick, just north of Wichita. Upon graduating from high school, she attended Butler County Community College where she received her Associate in Applied Science. She moved to to Kansas City where she attended Cleveland Chiropractic College. After graduation in 2001, she stayed in the Kansas City area to learn more about the business aspect of running a clinic. She returned to the Wichita area to be closer to her family when she met her husband, Michael. She opened her clinic near Central and Greenwich in the fall of 2002. Dr. Jill is proud to have her daughters, Chloe (born in 2003) and Abby (born in 2006), on site with her when they are not in school.

Dr. Jill had her first adjustment when she was 3 years old. The medical doctor wanted to perform a surgery on her back because of scoliosis. Her parents could not afford the procedure so they chose chiropractic care for her. Dr. Jill has received several adjustments since 1981 so she decided what better way to give back to her family by being a Doctor of Chiropractic herself. She tries to get an adjustment each week to function better herself. She attends St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Andover. Her daily farm upbringing has taught her to accomplish something each day so in her spare time, she enjoys cooking, playing cards, and bingo. In the summertime, she likes to go camping, play golf, and ride on the back of Michael's motorcycle. Dr. Jill is a big fan of the KSU Wildcats!

She plans to learn more about nutrition to help maximize the benefits of her chiropractic care. Dr. Jill is a member of the Kansas Chiropractic Association, and previously a Charter member of the Andover Rotary Club and member of the Andover and Wichita Chambers. Dr. Jill will be serving her clientele in and around the Wichita area for many years to come.

Khoi

Khoi Huynh

Doctor of Chiropractic

I went to school at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri, and graduated in August of 2011. I received my Bachelor of Art in 2007 from Wichita State University. During chiropractic school, I have taken interests in many techniques such as Activator, Cox Flexion/Distraction, CPK, and Acupuncture. Although I received the best education from Cleveland Chiropractic College, I believe that in order to provide the best treatments for my patients, I have to view Chiropractic as a life-long learning process. Currently, I would like to learn more about the clinic management aspect of Chiropractic. I have became a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. I am hoping that by continuing my education with Dr. Bergkamp-Engle, I can strengthen my weaknesses by learning from an experienced doctor. I was born in Vietnam and I am fluent in both Vietnamese and English. I am a sociable, outgoing, and friendly person according to my friends. My hobbies are weight lifting, photography, traveling, and trying different kinds of food. I also enjoy watching movies and spending time with my family and friends. I come from a fairly big family and I am always excited about hanging out with my 5 nieces and nephews. I have been in Wichita for 16 years and I truly enjoy this friendly city. I am looking forward to serving Wichita, the community I grew up in.

Human Factoids

Your jaw muscles can generate a force of 200 pounds on the molars.

Each pound of body fat stores 3500 calories.
